Founded in the spring of 2000, RINI Technologies provides innovative technology and product solutions to tough thermal-management challenges. RINI Technologies' core expertise is in Evaporative Spray Cooling ( ESC ), Thermal Energy Storage ( TES ) and Miniature Refrigeration System. These technologies are leveraged for a variety of applications for high-power lasers, power electronics, and personal cooling devices. The company got its start winning competitive contracts through the Small Business Innovation Research ( SBIR ) program. With customers such as Army Natick Soldier Center, Air Force Research Laboratory, Office of Naval Research, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, and more, RINI Technologies is well known and respected in the advanced thermal management industry. RINI Technologies provides solutions to Tier 1 government contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and SAIC and has successfully executed over 30 contracts for thermal-management programs with the Federal government. In all cases, RINI delivers solutions that solve customer issues while reducing size, weight, and power requirements. Due to steady growth, consistent performance, and customer loyalty, RINI Technologies graduated from University Incubator ( UCFTI ). UCFTI is a national award winning business incubator established to foster and develop high-tech start-up companies. The UCFTI was designated as the national "Incubator of the Year" in 2004. In 2006, the company was honored with the Metro Orlando Economic Development William Schwartz Award. The award was given due to exceptional technology innovations the company has brought to Central Florida. The thermal management offered by RINI Technologies requires special skills and training. Our staff has extensive experience in the disciplines of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamic analysis, and modeling. These disciplines are applied to advanced materials, heat exchanger design, refrigeration technology and systems integration. With a mix of key employees holding doctorate degrees in their respective fields of expertise, RINI Technologies works closely with the academic community to groom a qualified work force. In addition, the company has a dedicated machine shop and rapid prototyping capabilities for precision manufacturing and assembly. RINI's office and research laboratory is in Oviedo, Florida approximately one mile from the University of Central Florida. The 12, 000 square foot facility provides flexible space for the administration, engineering, research and development, integration and rapid prototyping ; with 6, 000 square feet of laboratory space with a fully equipped machine shop.
