Lake Weir High School

Sanford Middle School is a math, science and technology magnet school located in Sanford, Fla. It offers educational instruction to students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students and is a part of the Seminole County School District. Its project-based curriculum include a flight lab with a real flight simulator, a space lab with aquaculture and robotics, engineering, veterinary science, as well as a preinternational baccalaureate preparatory program. The school s colors are royal blue and gold. It offers various extracurricular activities, such as jazz band, math and chess clubs, student council, art club, yearbook and community service and environmental clubs. Sanford Middle School has athletic teams in several sports, including cheerleading, cross country, volleyball, basketball and track and field.
