History

Dr. Cecelia Damask is a Chicago native who attended medical school in Chicago and completed her residency in Ohio. Prior to going to medical school, Dr. Damask taught high school. Her teaching experience helps her to explain complex medical concepts in ways that patients can easily understand. As an ear, nose and throat resident, Dr. Damask was frustrated just putting ear tubes in children and doing sinus surgery on adults, only to see the same patients return with the same problems after surgery. This is when her passion for allergy started. Dr. Damask learned from these patients that it wasn't until their underlying allergies were treated that their problems stopped reoccurring. she now encourages all of her recurrent sinus and ear infection patients to be evaluated for underlying allergies. Lake Mary Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy specializes in allergy drops. Allergy drops are administered under the tongue at home. They are a convenient alternative to weekly allergy shots.
