Lafayette Blue Springs State Park

The Valdosta Parks and Recreation Department provides recreation, parks and environmental conservation. The department is a part of the City of Valdosta and is located in Valdosta, Ga. The department maintains more than 20 parks throughout the city for sports, picnicking and relaxing. The parks provide various facilities, such as basketball courts, playgrounds, restrooms, pavilions, kitchens, softball fields, grills, and tennis and volleyball courts. The other amenities include auditoriums, gymnasiums, dressing rooms, picnic tables, park benches, fishing ponds, swings and water fountains. The Valdosta Parks and Recreation Department additionally provide movie theaters, bowling alleys, restaurants, nightclubs, swimming pools, shops and libraries.
