This location has been operating since September 2006 but the history of Kohr's frozen custard goes back to 1919 in Coney Island, when Archie and Elton Kohr perfected the soft serve machine and the soft served dairy product that has been known as frozen custard ever since. Although part of the same family, we are a chain independently owned and operated, separate from the Kohr Brothers Custard franchise famous in New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
