The Knight Sports Complex, dedicated on November 12, 1985, was established through a generous gift from the James L. Knight Charitable Trust Fund, reflecting Knight's strong support for the University of Miami. Located between the Isadore Hecht Athletic Center and Cobb Stadium, the facility features surfaced practice courts, exemplary locker rooms, and various coaching offices.
Since its refurbishment in the spring of 1994, the Knight Sports Complex has served as the home court for the University of Miami's women's basketball team, where they achieved an impressive 24 consecutive home victories. Additionally, it has been the home facility for the university's volleyball program since 2001, showcasing its commitment to supporting student-athlete development.
