If you are a member of the United States Armed Forces who is transferred to Florida from out of state or from a foreign country due to a permanent change of station orders, and your child has a current IEP, your child may be eligible for the McKay Scholarship Program. A dependent child of an Armed Forces member does not have to meet the requirement that he or she attended and was reported for funding at a public school in Florida the year prior to entering the McKay Program.Child Development Services Miami-Dade County's Department of Human Services ( DHS ) provides child care financial assistance to parents with low-income.
