Kika Silva Pla Planetarium

The Kika Silva Pla Planetarium, located on the Northwest Campus of Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL, is the only planetarium in North Central Florida. Made possible by a generous donation from John Pla and Amy Howard, the planetarium is dedicated to enriching the learning environment for students and the community through immersive-learning experiences and the latest educationally innovative technology.

Since 2006, the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium has been a hub for SF and UF students, public and private school children, community groups, and the general public, offering a range of events, field trips, and popular shows. With a commitment to education, social justice, and civic engagement, the planetarium provides a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of the universe in a captivating and interactive setting.
