He completed a general surgery internship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland and a urology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He also completed a fellowship in minimally invasive urological surgery at Global Robotics Institute in Orlando and Institut Mutualiste Montsouris in Paris, France. Dr. Valero has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented scientific papers at professional symposiums. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Urological Association and several other professional organizations.
