Emily Quintero, M.D., is a family medicine physician with Baptist Health Primary Care. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians. Fostering long-term relationships with her patients and their families built on trust and open communication allows Dr. Quintero to deliver personalized care that addresses not only physical health but also emotional and social wellness. Dr. Quintero focuses on treating the individual rather than the illness, which involves understanding her patients' unique backgrounds, personal circumstances and health goals. She also strives to promote health literacy and empower patients to take an active role in their healthcare decisions. During her free time, Dr. Quintero enjoys fishing, bike riding, salsa dancing and spending time with her family and dog, Nemo.
