Juan Cedeno, M.D., is a urologist at Baptist Health, and specializes in minimally invasive reconstructive urology and transgender care. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. Before joining the urology team at Baptist Health in 2022, Dr. Cedeno completed a reconstructive urology fellowship at the University of Illinois. He also served as chief resident during his urology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center.In addition to being named Jackson Memorial Hospital's best intern of the year in 2016-2017, Dr. Cedeno has also authored and co-authored multiple articles, chapters and studies. From 2009 to 2010, he served as an assistant professor at his alma mater, Universidad de Carabobo in Maracay, Venezuela. As a minimally invasive reconstructive urologist, Dr. Cedeno performs complex surgical procedures using innovative robotic platforms. He specializes in the placement of genital prostheses, general urological care, treatment for sexual dysfunction and gender-affirming surgery. His approach to care reflects his enthusiasm for helping patients find fulfillment in their lives. Dr. Cedeno's passion for medicine extends well beyond our hospital walls. He dedicates his free time to mission trips in South America, where he enjoys giving back to communities that remind him of his Venezuelan hometown. He also loves mountain biking, playing soccer, cooking and dancing.

Carlos Sanchez-Correa, M.D., is a urologist who treats male and female urinary conditions at Baptist Health. He is fluent in English and Spanish. During his residency, he also served as an investigator on a clinical research study that analyzed the cost burden and risk profile of bladder drainage devices in pediatric patients with bladder disorders. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American Urological Association and American Medical Association. Whether he is working with patients in clinic, researching new treatments or volunteering in his local community, Dr. Sanchez-Correa dedicates his time to improving the lives of others. Through listening and discussion, he strives to help patients make the most informed care decisions so they can meet their healthcare goals. Outside of work, Dr. Sanchez-Correa enjoys exercising, watching movies, and playing ping-pong and basketball.
