He was going into a Crestview music store years ago called Mike's Music, and noticed a poster on the store window. It was advertising for a show in South Alabama. The poster said the person's name was Willie and he played a juke joint style of blues. Jimmy thought Juke Joint Willie would be a good name for the band.Juke Joint Willie was started in a practice room in 1999.
