Growing up in a small town and on a farm we generally made repairs and built structures ourselves and by the guidance of the family elders with the best experience for the task. I entered the construction industry as a summer job in high school where I became the demolition/site preparation crew leader for a custom home builder. After school, I enlisted in the US Navy as an Aircraft Electronics Technician. In the Navy I studied electricity, electrical theory, troubleshooting, leadership, and many other things. In recent years, I was the remodel team for a local medical lab company who I assisted by preparing and remodeling buildings into functional and ready to work labs as they added a racing facility and nine additional laboratories to their brand across central and north Florida. I then, gained employment with a local contractor who has been in business for more than 27 years. Starting as a helper, I quickly advanced to Crew Leader overseeing teams of 5-10 professionals.
