The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, founded in 1987, is a more than 335,000-square-foot performing arts complex. The center organizes grand opera, as well as presents a range of concerts, performances and events. It features more than five theaters, boutiques and on-site restaurants. The center accommodates musical, dance, theatrical and television productions, as well as awards programs, pageants, conventions and meetings. The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center s halls feature audio, lighting and backstage equipment. The center offers catering and banquet services for weddings, luncheons, dinners, parties, receptions, meetings and seminars. It CenterStore is a retail outlet that provides posters, music scores and tapes. The center is a member of the Florida Professional Presenters Consortium.
