Jesus Jimenez, M.D.

Miguel Lopez-Viego, M.D., is a board-certified general and vascular surgeon at Baptist Health and speaks fluent English and Spanish.Dr. Lopez-Viego received his medical degree from University of Miami School of Medicine, where he earned Alpha Omega Alpha status for being at the top of his medical school class. He then completed a general surgery residency — earning the Outstanding Fourth Year Resident Award — and then a vascular surgery fellowship at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. As a specialist in both general surgery and vascular surgery, Dr. Lopez-Viego treats a wide range of conditions with a focus on aortic surgery and pancreatic cancer and esophagus cancer surgery. Dr. Lopez-Viego is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is the author of two surgery textbooks. He holds faculty positions at Florida Atlantic University, University of Miami and Nova Southeastern University. After more than 30 years as a vascular and general surgeon, Dr. Lopez-Viego remains passionate about providing positive outcomes for his patients. He is committed to caring for his patients every step of the way, from the first time he meets them all the way to the end of their treatment. In his free time, Dr. Lopez-Viego enjoys spending time with his family saltwater fishing, spear fishing and researching military medical history.

Reagan Ross, M.D., is a board-certified general and vascular surgeon at Baptist Health, focusing on the minimally invasive treatment of complex thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms.She joined Baptist Health in 2015 after completing a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Florida. Dr. Ross earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She earned the William J. von Liebig Research Fellowship in vascular surgery at Harvard Medical School. She also was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society with Research Distinction.During her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dr. Ross was the administrative chief resident of the surgery department and the Texas Surgical Association’s Surgeon of the Year, naming her the top surgical resident in Texas. Dr. Ross seeks to provide patients the best possible surgical care through by innovation, technology and compassion.Dr. Ross enjoys travelling, hiking, climbing, biking, playing basketball and softball & watching college football, basketball/softball and baseball.

Nicholas Cortolillo, M.D., is a vascular surgeon with Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care. Dr. Cortolillo treats the entire spectrum of vascular disease, with an emphasis in complex endovascular methods. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Cortolillo is also a clinical associate professor who teaches vascular surgery at Florida Atlantic University and University of Miami. Before joining Baptist Health in 2022, Dr. Cortolillo completed his vascular surgery fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. During his fellowship, he ranked top among his peers in excellence and vascular surgical skills. Dr. Cortolillo’s research has been published in multiple medical journals, including Annals of Vascular Surgery, Journal of Robotic Surgery, Journal of Trauma Acute Care Surgery and Pediatric Surgery International. His research focuses on improving patients’ experience and quality of life after surgery. Dr. Cortolillo belongs to American College of Surgeons, Society of Vascular Surgery and American Medical Association. Dr. Cortolillo’s patient care philosophy began to develop at age 11 when his father received life-saving vascular surgery. He believes long-term relationships with his patients improve their quality of life. He is also passionate about using nonsurgical treatments tailored to each patient whenever possible. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Cortolillo enjoys hockey, soccer, boating, woodworking, antique refurbishing and maybe a game or two of poker.
