Jennifer M. Nixon, MD, FACOG

Dr. Jeffrey Puretz is the Medical Director of Women's Care in Lakeland and a board-certified OB-GYN with over 30 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his OB-GYN residency in Buffalo, NY, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Puretz specializes in general obstetrics, prenatal care, infertility, menopause management, hormone replacement therapy, and in-office procedures. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Florida Medical Association.

Jill Hendry, APRN, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife at Women's Care in Lakeland, FL, with over 22 years of experience in women's health. She provides compassionate prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care with a focus on patient education and empowerment. Jill is certified in BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation and has long-standing hospital affiliations in Lakeland. She is currently accepting new patients and is proud to support women across all stages of life at our trusted gynecologist clinic.

Emily Spangler is a dual-certified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who obtained a double masters in women's health and adult/gerontology from the University of Alabama. Emily's education, coupled with over a decade of women's health care experience, allows her to provide comprehensive care to women throughout all stages of their lives. She strives to work in tandem with patients, providing tools to optimize their health, such as contraception counseling, annual well-woman exams and menopausal symptom management. She has specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic conditions, including endometriosis, vulvodynia and female sexual dysfunction.
