Dr. White is a pediatric psychologist at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she provides specialized care to families in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Her clinical focus includes trauma-informed, family-centered interventions that support parental coping, bereavement, parent-infant bonding, and infant neurodevelopment in medically complex cases. Dr. White earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a graduate certificate in trauma from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California. Her clinical experience spans hospitals, community mental health centers, domestic violence shelters, and university counseling settings. She has served a diverse patient population, including asylum seekers, trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and children with developmental disabilities. Her clinical and research interests center on perinatal and infant mental health, traumatic birth experiences, grief and loss, autism spectrum disorders, early developmental interventions, and mental health equity—particularly among Black families and marginalized communities. Dr. White collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to improve psychological care delivery in intensive medical environments.
