The Jackson North Medical Center is a more than 380-bed health care facility that offers 24-hour adult and pediatric emergency support services to individuals and families. It provides treatment in the areas of maternity, orthopedics, surgery, psychiatry, and inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. The organization maintains weight loss surgery, wound care, mental health, and pain and spine treatment centers. Formerly known as the Parkway Regional Medical Center, it also provides treatment to patients who suffer from Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. The Jackson North Medical Center s rehabilitation department treats patients through physical, speech and occupational therapies. In addition, the organization provides nursing and medical care services for arthritis, amputation, neurological disorders, injuries, hip replacement and head trauma.
