Isleda Porras-Sanchez, APRN - CenterWell Southchase

Isleda Porras Sanchez, APRN, FNP-BC, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2014 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 from Florida International University. Ms. Porras Sanchez underwent medical training at the University of Medical Sciences in Havana, Cuba, and practiced as a family and emergency physician in Cuba. She has served on the faculty of Miami Dade College, Med-Life Institute, and Florida Career College. Before joining our center in 2024, Ms. Porras Sanchez provided primary care in Florida with Elite Health Medical Center and Santos Medical Center. She previously worked as a PCP Walk-in Clinic provider at Conviva Physician Group and as a family nurse practitioner at Interamerican Medical Center. Additionally, she has taught nursing and held roles in clinical coordination and case management. Passionate about heart health, brain health, and diabetes management, Ms. Porras Sanchez prioritizes empathy, dedication, and personalized care plans, ensuring each patient receives the same attention and consideration she would offer her family. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, music, and reading.
