See dolphins and pass the luxurious mansions along the intracoastal. Amazing beach scooter trips from Clearwater to Ft. DeSoto and more. Navigate your way on a single or double kayak while you enjoy the sun. From our docks, we are one hour from John’s Pass where you can sight more dolphins than anywhere else. Along the way you will cruise through The Narrows, a bird sanctuary for Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, and the beautiful pink Rosetta Spoonbills. Take some more time and continue north to explore Caladesi Island, voted #1 beach in America. On the island you can enjoy the day picnicking, searching for shells, swimming the turquoise waters or just relaxing on the beach. The Hurricane deck boats can head out of Clearwater Pass into the Gulf of Mexico and anchor off Caladesi Island, Honeymoon Island and Three Rookers, where the water is clear enough to snorkel. Cruise down the coast enjoying the open sea and try spotting the dolphins jumping. You can head back into the bay through John’s Pass and stop at your choice of over a dozen plus restaurants for a great meal on the water. And as you come back in, Island Marine’s courteous staff will be there to help you dock the boat. If you’re thinking maybe you’ll get lost, not to worry, our boats have Garmin GPS, just follow the line! We also have other pre-planned routes and fun destinations on detailed maps built in. All boats have GPS trackers giving us details of your position so you and your family are safe. Would you like to play on the water without a motor? Try paddleboarding (the latest craze) or single or double kayaking. The intracoastal waterways are wide and safe enough you'll be able to enjoy yourself motoring around on paddle power. You'll see birds and fish of all kinds, even dolphins, plus homes of the rich and famous. And great way for the family to enjoy the day and we provide everything you'll need and then some. Would you prefer to stay on the ground? Try a breezy trip on a bike or a scooter. Go North towards Clearwater beach where you'll find incredible dining and unique shops. Go South towards John's pass and you'll find the same, plus entertainment. Go for a few hours or spend the day. The speed limit on Gulf Blvd is limited to 30 mph and there's a dedicated bike lane so it's a very safe place to ride up and down with the Gulf of Mexico within a glance to either side, depending on which direction you're going.
