Intense Defense was started in 1994 by Rod M. Scott, a former federal law enforcement officer. His staff includes law enforcement officers, military trainers and internationally acclaimed martial artists. Scott is dedicated to help curb a rise in violent crimes against women. Working closely with the American Women's Self Defense Association (AWSDA), Intense Defense instructor's are experts in the fields of safety and self defense.
