Meet Dr. CreekmoreSara Creekmore, DO, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and surgeon at Tampa Bay Eye and Facial Aesthetics in Lutz, Florida. She was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and grew up loving nature and enjoying soccer, softball, and waterskiing with her family. A serious soccer injury required her to learn to walk again, and inspired her interest in medicine. She was awarded a scholarship to attend Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where she studied biology and graduated as a Provost Scholar. Compelled by her own story of healing, she earned her doctorate of osteopathic medicine at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.After completing two years of family practice residency training in Largo, Florida, Dr. Creekmore completed an ophthalmology residency at Valley Health System in Las Vegas, Nevada. She and her husband moved back to the mid-Atlantic with their three children, where she spent six years treating thousands of patients in Western Virginia and North Carolina.
