Ignacio Lazaro Valdes, MD

Marc Swerdloff, M.D., is a neurologist at Marcus Neuroscience Institute, a part of Baptist Health. Dr. Swerdloff specializes in general neurology with an emphasis on peripheral neuropathies, myasthenia, headaches and electromyography. Prior to joining Marcus Neuroscience Institute in 2017, Dr. Swerdloff was in private practice in Northern Broward County and Southern Palm Beach County. Dr. Swerdloff is passionate about advancing the field of neurology and educating the next generation of physicians. He has been involved as a principal or sub-investigator in more than 100 neurology studies. He is a clinical affiliate associate professor of neurology at Florida Atlantic University, where he also helped establish the Neurology Residency Program. Dr. Swerdloff works with his patients and neurology and neurosurgery colleagues to improve each patient’s quality of life. He is happiest when he can change a person’s life trajectory in a positive direction. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Swerdloff enjoys spending time with his family, attending synagogue, exercising, listening to podcasts and reading.

Jason Perry, M.D., is a primary care sports medicine physician with Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Dr. Perry specializes in non-operative orthopedics and primary care sports medicine. Prior to joining Boca Raton Regional Hospital in 2015, Dr. Perry completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center. He currently serves as a team physician for Florida Atlantic University and Lynn University. Dr. Perry has a strong commitment to providing evidence-based medical care through a patient-centered approach. When defining the best treatment plan for each patient, he considers all of the components related to their injury, including the underlying biomechanics of the injury, the patient’s needs and expectations, and the injury’s short- and long-term implications. He also assists patients in the recovery process to help them reach their ultimate goals of returning to everyday activities or sports at their optimal potential. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Perry enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active in the gym, playing sports, fishing, boating and golfing.

Andrew William Schwartz, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine physician with Baptist Health Primary Care. He provides comprehensive healthcare for patients of all ages and genders. In addition to diagnosing and treating illnesses, he provides preventive care, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. His clinical interests include mental health, orthopedic and spinal injuries, diabetes and hypertension. Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care, Dr. Schwartz was a family medicine physician at Sylvan Medical Center, a high-volume outpatient clinic in Alberta, Canada. Dr. Schwartz earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies, and completed a residency in family medicine at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, W.V. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Patient visits with Dr. Schwartz are comprehensive with a focus on preventative care. He takes time to thoroughly review lab results and diagnostic images with patients to ensure that they fully understand the areas of concern and treatment plan. To maintain his own health, Dr. Schwartz makes fitness part of his daily routine. He enjoys playing poker and watching boxing, wrestling, baseball and football, but spending quality time with his two children brings him the greatest joy.
