Hope School

Hope School is a special education institution that provides learning opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities. It has an enrollment of more than 80 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school offers services to students with autistic, hearing, visual, physical, and speech and language impairments. Hope School s academic curriculum features classes in reading, writing, math and science. It serves students from Jackson, Calhoun and Washington counties in Florida. The school conducts various prevocational and job preparation classes. Hope School works in accordance with Florida s Sunshine State Standards. It is governed by the Jackson County School Board, which operates elementary, middle and high schools.
