Hillsborough Community College

Hillsborough Community College is a two-year community college located in Hillsborough County, Fla. The college has five campuses located throughout the county including Brandon, Dale Mabry, Plant City, Ybor City and MacDill AFB. Founded in 1968, the college offers associate degree in arts, science and applied science. It provides courses in English for academic purposes for various levels. Its preparatory curriculum comprises subjects, such as algebra, applied word processing, psychology of personal growth, keyboarding, college reading, vocabulary improvement and math study skills. The college s career resource center provides students with information on careers and helps them make career plans. It also provides the services of Professional counselors to students to help them with career decision-making, academic planning and personal growth. Hillsborough Community College has athletic teams for different sports, including baseball, basketball, softball, tennis and volleyball.
