Of everywhere he traveled in this world, "Papa" Ernest Hemingway chose Key West to call home. It's here that we chose to craft the rum made in his honor, Papa's Pilar. Our Rum Distillery is located in a historic tobacco warehouse built in 1878 by skilled Irish bricklayers . Here you can navigate the art of making rum, discover how our rum makers craft our unique spirit, uncover untold stories of Hemingway and experience an adventure Papa would be proud of.
