HistoryMathieu International Foundation believes that every child deserves the right to access healthy food, clean water, and most importantly, education. Founded in 2019 by Jean Max Mathieu, our organization intends to improve wellbeing of youth and their families within marginalized communities in the US and Haiti, leaving behind a legacy of effective new leaders who will learn how to serve their communities and ultimately transform the socioeconomic and political landscape of the country. MIF also aims to strengthen the enrollment of children and young adults with disabilities in school, as part of an inclusive approach. Through the provision of high-quality human service initiatives, we aspire to: * Increase literacy among youth, as literacy strongly correlates with improved health conditions, academic success, and economic wellbeing, thereby helping to break the cycle of poverty. * Improve quality of life in marginalized area by improving access to clean water, nutrition, and educationSpecialtiesMathieu International Foundation (MIF) is fueled by a profound belief in the power of determination to make a difference in the lives of those struggling with poverty, both in the USA and in Haiti. Born out of a passion for meeting the social and educational needs of the poor, Mathieu International Foundation fulfills our mission by offering opportunities to improve the physical, social, and emotional and health of vulnerable youth and their families, while fervently promoting education as a means of overcoming cyclical poverty.
