H.A.L.O.'s Rescued Treasures

J.McLaughlin's Vero Beach store is conveniently located on the coast along Highway A1A. Driving north on A1A, make the second right after the blinking traffic light; Driving south on A1A, we are just past the community of John's Island on the left across from the Indian River Shores Fire Department. Vero Beach is a resort community on the east coast of Florida, located about 90 minutes from Orlando and Palm Beach. The high season begins in October and peaks in March. Our seasonal residents come from all over the globe to play golf at the many professionally designed golf courses. Vero is also growing among younger populations as well, drawing in new restaurants and a vibrant artistic community to the area. It has small town vibe with big city amenities. Enjoy lunch at the Citron Bistro, then make a shopping stop at Alimentari, located at the Village Shops. For evening cocktails with an ocean view, visit the Vero Beach Hotel & Spa, located on Ocean Drive. On Saturday mornings, check out the Farmers Market, where you can buy locally grown produce, eggs, meats, native plants, and handmade gifts. Next, take a cruise along the Indian River and see some of the 600 species of dolphin that call this lagoon their home. Of course, no visit to Vero Beach is complete without a day at the beach!
