History

Gulfpride Seafood is the brainchild of a former cod and scallop fisherman from New Bedford, MA and a former sharpshooter and Marine Corps captain. Founded on a mutual love for fishing, these two decided to put their talents to work in 2011 selling the freshest seafood available- straight from our very own dock. Located in the tony hamlet of Marathon, Florida, Gulfpride Seafood specializes in harvesting fresh Florida spiny lobster and Florida stone crab. We catch everything ourselves and sell directly to you. We also catch and sell yellowtail snappers! Our fishing fleet consists of three boats, the Tilly Mac (named after the Marine's daughter), the Danny Boy (named after the owner's son), and the Ohso (as our catch is Oh So Fresh). Family is important to us and we are dedicated to bringing the freshest Florida seafood directly to your family through our online store and our retail market, located on 15th Street in Marathon.
