We are Pasco Countys only public charter Montessori school. CMCS is a top performer in Tampa's elementary school and middle school and has been rated "A" for many years. Located in New Port Richey, Fla., Genesis Preparatory School is a member of Schiller International Schools and offers academic classes for students in grades 6 through 12. It is one of the largest organizations of independent schools in the United States and represents more than 73,000 students in over 150 member schools. The district s academic curriculum includes math, science, social studies, English, computer technology, foreign languages, and health and physical education. Genesis Preparatory School also supports various extracurricular activities that include drama, art, robotics and handbell choirs. It is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and is an association member of the National Association of Independent Schools. Established in 1993, the district additionally administers various athletic activities, such as football, volleyball, golf, basketball, cheerleading, baseball, golf and tennis.
