Griffin Elementary School

Griffin Elementary School, located in Lakeland, Fla., was established in 1931. The school offers academic classes to more than 600 students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school offers a range of academic subjects, such as reading, writing, English, math, science, social studies, spelling and vocabulary and music. The school also offers an accelerated reading program that develops students English language proficiency and academic skill. Griffin Elementary School operates a library and media center that provides various resources, including electronic, print and other materials. It also includes a variety of books, videos, journals and magazines. In addition, Griffin Elementary School offers before- and after-school tutorial programs.
