Grandview Preparatory School

Grandview Preparatory School is an independent college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school, located in Boca Raton, Fla. Founded in 1997, it enrolls students in prekindergarten through grade 12. The lower school recognizes the varying developmental levels of children of this age and incorporates activities appropriate for the individual child in specially designed classrooms and a lower school science laboratory. The curriculum in the middle school is designed specifically to meet the intellectual needs of the early adolescent child, and in addition to a mastery of the basics, integrates a comprehensive critical thinking skill within the academic program. Its upper school curriculum challenges students to develop high level reasoning skills and includes programs developed in collaboration with the University of Chicago, Carnegie Mellon University and Columbia University. Its campus life also includes interscholastic sports competition, academic clubs and community service opportunities.
