History

How It All Started: If the very thought of acupuncture conjures up visions of horror films or sounds like a subject Harry Potter might study, you're aren't much different than I was in 2004 when I was dragged to my first acupuncture treatment. I wish I could tell you I was always a fan of acupuncture. After all, it does have over 2,500 years of history as a safe and effective healthcare modality. The truth is, I was flat out skeptical, scared and completely weirded-out by the whole thing. That is, until I woke up the next morning after my first treatment with less pain than I'd had in almost 2 years after a nasty car accident. One year after that first treatment, I left a successful career in advertising to begin the training that would change my health and my life forever. Today, I am healthier, happier and almost always pain free. That's the power of acupuncture and its why I do what I do.
