German Ojeda-Correal, M.D., is a nonsurgical spine care physician and the director of musculoskeletal rehabilitation at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Ojeda-Correal specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders, electrodiagnostic medicine and spine disorders. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Prior to joining Miami Neuroscience Institute in 2022, Dr. Ojeda-Correal served as a physiatrist at Conviva Physicians. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Ojeda-Correal’s approach to patient care is based on listening to the patient. The amount of information he receives contributes to determining the patient’s diagnosis and seeing from the patient’s perspective gives him a better understanding of the situation. Helping the patient feel relief at the end of their treatment rewards him with a sense of satisfaction. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Ojeda-Correal enjoys spending time with family, biking, reading, listening to audiobooks and traveling.

He is an assistant professor of clinical rehabilitation medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he has taught and mentored medical residents, physical therapists and occupational therapists. Dr. Tolchin is Board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, with a subspecialty in spinal cord injury medicine and pain medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Tolchin has been part of clinical trials on prosthetics and the treatment of combat-related brain injuries. His research has been published extensively in medical journals and he has presented findings at numerous national physician education meetings.
