History

Tommy Vitek, Executive Chef Born and raised in Allentown, PA, Tommy's mother June instilled a love of cooking that would grow into a life-long passion. At age 17 he took his first step into a professional kitchen at the 94th Aero Squadron in downtown Orlando; three months later he was promoted to cook. After seven years in one of Orlando's nicest and busiest restaurants, Tommy was offered a position at Interlachen Country Club in Winter Park, working under executive chef Bill Wolf. The next 14 years was spent at Interlachen constantly striving to perfect his craft and express his unique take on food. In 2003, Tommy accepted the executive chef position at Heathrow country club. With 4 food outlets and $4 million in annual sales, it was a very challenging, fast-paced five and a half years to say the least.
