With generous support, the Barrier Island Parks Society, BIPS restored the Gasparilla Island Lighthouse to its 1927 splendor in 2017, and will continue to preserve this legacy for future generations! The lighthouse is open for docent led climb tours October - April. The lighthouse is surrounded by a pristine nature trail on 7.4 acres of pristine beachfront property, also preserved by BIPS and open to the public year round. All proceeds support the continued preservation of this community treasure and cherished icon of U.S. history. Learn more at www.BIPS.org
