Gaitherr High School

Established in 1984 and located in Tampa, Fla., Gaither High School operates under Hillsborough County Public Schools. The school offers classes from grades nine through 12. It provides instruction in a wide range of academic areas, including animal science, environmental studies, health education, computers and technology, engineering and foreign languages. The school also offers classes in global studies, law studies and public service, automotive technology and early childhood education. Gaither High School also offers before and after school programs for students. The school provides special education to students with autism, visual and hearing impairments, and language and speech impairments. It also arranges basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, golf, swimming, track, baseball and wrestling activities for girls and boys. The school offers guidance services for students through trained counselors.
