History
Jennifer Downey and Theresa Rizzo founded Gainesville Community Acupuncture (GCA) in 2009, after having been in private practice for seven years. We recognized a need in the Gainesville area for affordable, accessible acupuncture, and wanted to offer lower-cost acupuncture on a sliding scale, in a group setting. In 2019, Theresa established a new integrative wellness center, while Jenn continues offering community-style acupuncture at a new location. We at GCA remain committed to making acupuncture available at a reasonable cost.
