What a beautiful park. It's got a great dog park as well. Nice and large. Bring your bike, it's a great place to explore.

Egmont key is a great place to spend the day. sun on the beach and explore the fort. the ferry service could be better tho, prices keep going up every year and you only get 2-3 hours on the island

I live in Pinellas and take the ferry a few times a year. $5 to get in main Fort Desoto park and $25 for boat ride to Egmont Key state park . Boat ride very kid friendly. Captain gives options...
