Originally opened in 1939 as the Highway Grill off Federal Highway and State Road 84 in a time when Sailors flood the Port, then in 1948 renamed Freddie's Anchor Inn and Sports Grill. Freddie's was the place to go for locals to have lunch and a cold beer. In 2001 Freddie's moved a 1/2 mile west still just off of St Rd 84 (Marina Mile). Now 79 years later Freddie's is still a neighborhood hang out serving locals hot meals, cold beer, and cocktails along with pool tables, darts and TVs for many of your favorite sports games and entertainment.
