History

The Florida Real Estate Institute (FREI) was founded in 1977 by Dr. Ronald O. Boatright. He has owned and has been the chief executive officer of the school for the past 37 years. In addition, Dr. Boatright instructs courses as well as authoring many of the school's course textbooks. Neal Boatright is the chief administrator overseeing the registration, inquiries, and publishing as well as other administrative duties. Within five years after FREI commenced operations, it has been the premier school in Northeast Florida. Since opening its doors, more than 350,000 students have successfully completed courses conducted by the Florida Real Estate Institute.
