Fleming Island High School

Fleming Island High School provides learning experiences for students in grades 9 through 12. It conducts classes in social studies, science, math, English and physical education. The school supports band, chorus and art activities. It also offers academic instruction in accounting, business management, banking, digital media and programming. Fleming Island High School maintains the Academy of Business, Finance and Information Technology. It administers Advanced International Certificate of Excellence, which is a pre-university curriculum that provides students with college degree programs. It organizes basketball, soccer, wrestling, baseball, lacrosse and tennis activities. The school maintains a media center that supports the academic curriculum. It also operates a parent-volunteer committee. Fleming Island High School offers opportunities to participate in various student organizations, including the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Future Educators of America (FEA), and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). It additionally provides scholarship opportunities. The school is administered by the Clay County School District, which operates through business affairs, human resources, information services and transportation departments.
