Fitzgerald Middle School

Based in Largo, Fla., Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School is operated by Pinellas County Schools and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities. The middle school serves more than 1,100 students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, math, science, reading, social studies, health and physical education. The middle school also offers various educational programs for children with varying disabilities, such as hearing problems, and the speech and language and visually impaired. It provides various facilities, including libraries, computer laboratories, playing fields and a cafeteria. Additionally, the middle school offers various clubs and organizations, such as the National Junior Honor Society, journalism clubs, jazz band, student council and multicultural advisory committee. It provides a variety of athletic activities, including volleyball, basketball, track and cheerleading.
