Christopher Wilson joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in April 2015, following a 25-year career in the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Lt Col. Christopher understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Christopher has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Florida. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Christopher serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Christopher will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. In his free time, Christopher enjoys spending time with family and traveling. Steve Vergara joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 2008. Previously, he served as a banking center manager at Bank of America. A graduate of Robert Morris College with a bachelor's degree in business administration and an associate's degree in computerized business systems, Steve holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life, health and variable annuity insurance licenses. Steve advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Through a values-centered approach to financial planning and a client-first philosophy, Steve is committed to helping his clients plan confidently for the future and to accompanying them on their financial journey. Married with two children, Steve enjoys spending time with his family and watching his favorite teams, the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls.
