Dr. Do is general neurologist who also specializes in diagnosing and treating people with sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, and restless leg syndrome. His other specialization is in diagnosing people with nerve and muscle disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, lower back and neck pain, and diabetic neuropathy. He is board certified in neurology, sleep medicine, pharmacy, and fellowship trained in clinical neurophysiology. He received his undergraduate, pharmacy, and doctor of medicine degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His initial neurological training was at Georgetown University Hospital, and he continued here for his neurophysiology fellowship with a focus on EMG procedures and nerve conduction studies. This fellowship was followed by a sleep medicine fellowship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Washington, D.C. After his sleep medicine fellowship, he remained with the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Washington, D.C. It was here that he worked for the Department Neurology and War Related Injuries, treating soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan who were suffering from traumatic brain injuries, nerve and limb injuries, and sleep disorders. One of his biggest honors was the privilege to help wounded veterans.

Jeffrey Burnette, MD

Moreover, from 2005 to 2006, Dr. Burnette was Officer In-Charge of the Orthopaedic Surgery Clinic at WBAMC and, beginning in 2007, Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Service. From 2008 to 2013, he practiced at Piedmont Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Complex. From 2011 to 2013, he was the Chief of Staff at Coliseum Northside Hospital, where he was also active as the Total Joint Program Champion and a member of the Board of Trustees at Coliseum Medical Centers. Mark Gould MD

After a distinguished 24-year career as a Navy orthopaedic surgeon, Mark T. Gould, MD, is joining the staff of the Hughston Clinic, in Jacksonville, FL. His clinical interest includes foot and ankle reconstructive surgery including total ankle arthroplasty and complex hind and midfoot reconstruction, sports related injuries of the lower extremity, general orthopaedics, and regenerative medicine applications to optimize recovery and functional outcomes. Dr. Gould graduated from Denison University in Granville, OH, with a Bachelor of Science degree and he went on to earn his medical degree at Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, OH. Dr. Gould completed his general surgery internship at Naval Hospital Bremerton Puget Sound Family Medicine before completing his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA. Between his internship and residency, Dr. Gould spent 4 years as an Undersea Medical Officer with Naval Special Warfare, providing care and advanced trauma training in austere tactical environments. He also had an active hyperbaric medicine practice. Additionally, he finished a one year fellowship in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at the University of Washington, Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Seattle under the guidance of Sigvard T. In 2006, he served a busy combat deployment as an orthopaedic surgeon in Al-Anbar Province, Iraq. A fellowship trained, board certified orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Gould has published peer-reviewed medical research articles and a book chapter in his subspecialty area of foot and ankle reconstruction.
