History

As a small business owner, our CEO Jack Barrett, searched for a community bank that would champion its citizens. When he couldn't find one, he decided to build one himself. In 198, with less than a decade of experience in banking, Barrett and the founding Board of Directors formed First Citrus Bank and began raising capital. From our humble first office without indoor plumbing, to a thriving people's bank with over 700 shareholders. First Citrus Bank has never wavered from providing compassionate service based on the three pillars of our community banking philosophy: Honor, Collaboration and Professionalism.
