Located in Polk City, Fla., Fantasy of Flight offers a variety of guided tours, including visits to its working restoration and maintenance areas. Its Fun with Flight area offers the cockpit of a Corsair fighter and hang glide simulator. The center s daily activities include biplane and balloon rides. It has a restaurant called Compass Rose that offers a short-order menu served up with an aviation spin. It also has a gift shop that provides a wide selection of aviation memorabilia, gifts, books, videos documenting and aviation themed clothing. Fantasy of Flight also has an online store that offers various departments, such as DVDs, apparels, posters, souvenirs, toys and games. It organizes various corporate events and accommodates 50 to 5,000 guests.

Loved this place! I love learning about history, especially military history and aircraft that helped us achieve victories in wars over the years. This is a great place for everyone.

An excellent air museum featuring the transition from early WWI planes, 1930's era barnstorming craft to WWII aircraft. Ed did a very good tour with insights into many of the planes on display....
