Ever'man Natural Foods was founded by a group of people in 1973. It is one of the largest cooperatives located between New Orleans and Tallahassee, Fla., that serves more than 8,000 active members in northwest Florida and southern Alabama. As a cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. Ever'man Natural Foods has more than 50 employees and a total of over 12,000 active members. It is a conventional grocery store that offers vitamins, supplements, chips and dairy products. In addition, Ever'man Natural Foods has a full-service, caf -style deli and juice bar. Its produce department carries a variety of organic products. The store sells juices, condiments and frozen food. Ever'man Natural Foods also houses a community meeting room that is used for holistic healing, yoga and other educational seminars. It also has a resource center that offers touch-screen computers, books, videos and magazines. Ever'man Natural Foods maintains a location in Pensacola, Fla.
