Esteban Enrique Lugo, MD

Dr. Smith specializes in critical care medicine in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the medical staff in 2002 and became vice chair of the medical staff in January 2020. She served as chief of the medical staff from 2022-2023. Dr. Smith was honored for Excellence in Service and Professionalism at Johns Hopkins All Children's in the 2023 Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Awards. She earned her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles. She completed her pediatric critical care fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Teppa is a physician in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the hospital staff in 2016.Dr. Teppa earned her medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela Medical School in Caracas, Venezuela. She trained in pediatrics at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, and completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.

Dr. Fagen specializes in pediatric radiology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the hospital staff in 2019.Dr. Fagen earned her medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. She completed her internship at National Capital Consortium and residency in diagnostic radiology at Naval Medical Center San Diego. She completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Children’s National Medical Center.
