Palm Beach Outpatient Detox specializes in personal and direct treatments for the detoxification of opiates, alcohol and benzodiazepines. Dr. Scanlan is Board Certified in both Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine (ASAM). He has done over 1,000 detoxes just in the last 2+ years alone. Medical detoxification takes place at Palm Beach Outpatient Detox (P.B.O.D) and most clients can begin detox within hours after contacting us. Our P.B.O.D. Life is a sixty day program that incorporates detox, individual therapy, relapse prevention, medication management, drug testing, and life-skill training. In addition, an individual has a recovery plan tailored to his or her needs and is introduced to the twelve step fellowship with 1:1 step education and selected meetings on the outside.

With twenty 24 beds and a twenty four-hour staff at our West Palm Beach, Florida locations, our patient-to-staff ratio is lower than most any other provider.
